About Me
I am an Adjunct Professor for California State University Northridge in Los Angeles and The Wright Institute in Berkeley. Previously, I served 11 years as core faculty in the Couple and Family Therapy Graduate Programs at Alliant International University in Los Angeles. I maintain licensure as a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#42723).
Research and Publications
My research has appeared in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy, Journal of Couple and Relationship Therapy, American Journal of Family Therapy, and elsewhere.
I have authored books including Basics of California Law for LMFTs, LPCCs, and LCSWs, Saving Psychotherapy, and these exam prep tools for the California Law & Ethics Exams for family therapists, clinical social workers, and clinical counselors.
Personal
I am an avid runner and triathlete, having now completed six Ironman triathlons and more than 40 marathons. When I'm not at work, I can often be found on the bike paths and running trails of Southern California.
